Citizens of an EU/EEA country, Switzerland or Ukraine are not required to pay tuition fees. Non-EU/EEA/Swiss/Ukrainian citizens are generally required to pay SEK 180,000 per academic year. To those who would have to pay the fees: SSE offers several scholarships that fully or partially cover the tuition fees through generous private donations. All scholarship applications are assessed by a selection committee, taking into consideration the relevance and the quality of the personal motivation, academic excellence, relevant extra-curricular activities, program cohort diversity and the distribution of scholarships across all programs. How to apply: The application for a scholarship is submitted during the application process for the BSc or MSc program, via our online application portal (please see the tab called "Scholarships" in the program application). Write a motivational letter for the available funding, and if you would like, you can mention that you fulfil the requirements for a specific fund (see below). This will make the matching easier for us. Please note that your application for the scholarships is not going to have an impact on your application for the program. Scholarships are distributed on a merit and need basis and we take into consideration the fair distribution across the programs.

In a landmark partnership, the QS Scholarships platform merged with ImpACT charity organization in 2020, culminating in a synergy of resources that now manifests as QS ImpACT Scholarships.

Institution-funded scholarships are exclusively backed by the institution itself. This implies that scholarship recipients need to secure acceptance for their studies at the said institution in order to qualify. It's essential to note that each scholarship comes with its own set of eligibility criteria and prerequisites.  On the other hand, QS ImpACT Scholarships mark a collaborative effort between the ImpACT charity organization and QS. These scholarships present a unique advantage – they allow candidates to be considered regardless of the institution they choose for their studies, as long as they meet the appropriate study-level requirements. To delve deeper into the eligibility criteria associated with these scholarships, we invite you to explore the relevant scholarship details.

It means that the scholarship is advertised on other platforms and websites as well, and so are available to a wider audience. You don’t need to attend one of our events (Discover Master's, Discover MBA, Connect Masters, Connect MBA, STEM, etc.) to apply (but we’d love to see you anyway).

Yes, you can apply for as many scholarships as you wish. Just make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria and follow the application process for each.

Scholarships by institutions are managed by the school, university or collage offering the scholarship and the winner will also be announced by them. QS ImpACT Scholarships are managed by us here at QS and we’ll announce the winner.
