The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences is one of the branches of health educational resources for the comprehensive renaissance in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It is one of the faculties of Al-Ahliyya Amman University; the first private university in Jordan. The faculty was established to support students to acquire qualified health profession to work in the field of health care. The first academic department of the faculty is called Medical Laboratory Sciences (previously called Medical Analysis), was established in 1991. In 2001, the Department of Audiology & Speech Pathology was established to increase the faculty’s scientific and academic base and achieve its goals through the good preparation and qualification of distinguished health care providers. In 2015, the department of Optometry Science, the first of its kind in private universities, was established in response to the demands for local, regional and Arabic needs. Moreover, in 2019 the department of cosmetic Sciences was also established.

Admission Requirements
Admission requirements of the Bachelor's degree program include a High School Certificate with an average not less than 70% or equivalent, in Scientific, Scientific - Medical Field, Comprehensive Health Education, and Nursing.
