This programme aims to educate and train the IS managers and professionals of the future to understand the opportunity, principles and impact of digital transformation and technological innovation in organizations.  The programme does not assume that students have prior knowledge in these areas, but a background in information systems, business or organization studies will be an advantage.  The programme incorporates a special focus on, and the potential for, strategic advantage that digital transformation and technological innovation can bring.

Analytical Programming with Python Big Data & Social Media Analytics Blockchain Technology and Business Applications Business Data Analytics Business Intelligence Applications Data Visualisation Information Systems Management Project Information Systems Infrastructure and Security Management Information Systems Project Information Technology Leadership Forum IoT Technologies for Future City Applications Management Support and Business Intelligence Systems Outsourcing and Offshoring Management Project Management and Quality Assurance ++ Students may also take up to 6 credits of electives offered by the departments within the College of Business, i.e. Accountancy, Economics and Finance, Information Systems, Management, Marketing, and Management Sciences.

Applicants should satisfy all of the following to be eligible for admission:
  • hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or management related subject from a UGC-funded tertiary education institution in Hong Kong, or an equivalent institution overseas;
  • have gained a basic level of computer literacy; and
  • preferably have two or more years of working experience.
