The study involves the knowledge, identification, selection, effects, preservation, compounding, analysis, and standardization of medicines. The pharmacist is responsible for the safe distribution and use of drugs, whether they have been prescribed by a physician, a dentist, or veterinary doctor or prepared and sold directly and legally to the consumer.
The Faculty of Pharmacy offers a complete and comprehensive program covering all aspects of medicines. It educates and trains pharmacists in the following areas:
