Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechatronics Engineering Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field with synergistic integration of mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, control engineering and computer science, emphasizing on integrated design for products and optimal combination of appropriate technologies. The 4-year B-Tech course in Mechatronics Engineering at KIIT DU is administered by the School of Mechanical Engineering. The Program differs very significantly, as its course content is highly integrated and focused on the basic principles of electrical, electronics, mechanical, control, instrumentation and computer engineering. The course curriculum is well planned & designed (as per the Industry Requirements), and along with the core subjects, students have the liberty to choose from a wide variety of departmental electives/Industry electives and the open electives. The Program is highly competitive, and aims to prepare the students with technical and analytical skills to design and build the smart machines to address the challenges faced by the industries and society. Apart from the curriculum, Student exchange programs, Internships, industrial visits are encouraged to provide students for needed practical exposure. Promoting active participation of students in various competitions organized at national and international level. Encouraging students to work on new product development area and prototyping with patents under the mechatronics society at school of mechanical engineering. Duration: 4 years Eligibility
Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2022, 2023 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2024 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 Years) course of the University.
Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/college.
Pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
Should have born on or after 01.07.2003.
