The Dental Hygiene Baccalaureate Degree Completion Program is a flexible, online course of study that leads to a Bachelor of Science degree. This program is designed for licensed dental hygienists, who hold an associate degree or certificate in dental hygiene from a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program. The program provides an opportunity for students to participate in a stimulating and educational environment that combines the general education aspects of a baccalaureate degree with advanced education in dental hygiene. You will need: a Computer which meets Ohio State’s minimum requirements; Stable high-speed internet connection; Current versions of a web browser; and an Up-to-date Java plugin.

Average SAT score is 1230-1390 and average ACT score is 27-32. Admission is selective. Applicants must be graduates of a CODA accredited dental hygiene program, have a cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or higher, and be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice dental hygiene.  The mathematics prerequisite must be completed by the end of the summer term prior to program entry.
