Apply market strategies to real-world marketing challenges
Work for clients including entrepreneurs working with Purdue’s Foundry and Discovery Park, Purdue Research Park startups, small and medium-size Indiana businesses, and nonprofit organizations
Projects are varied and may involve marketing plan development for a startup, market research, analysis of marketing data, digital marketing, search engine marketing, web design, and social entrepreneurship
Digital Marketing Strategy
Develop capabilities in designing, implementing, and evaluating digital marketing strategies
Cover online advertising, search engine optimization, participation in social media, online listening and monitoring, online display advertising, and web and social media analytics
Participate in an online marketing project with money supplied by the program to promote a chosen business organization via online or social media platform
Marketing Research
Learn to plan and execute market research studies that are used for crafting marketing strategies
Conduct studies and analyze them to obtain information about consumer behavior
Familiarize yourself with techniques in research design, data collection, and analysis of results from studies
