State University of Bangladesh

State University of Bangladesh (SUB) was established in 2002 under the Private University Act 1992, as amended in 1998. Labaid Group initiated its initiative to prioritize and contribute to Bangladesh's education sector.

SUB believes in and follows the concept of "Meritum Ethicus"- merits with ethics. The University imparts a contemporary industry-endorsed curriculum that has shaped the careers of thousands of our alumni working in different industries. These alumni have been groomed and chiseled to reach the perfection in their skills required for successful corporate careers.

Continuing its pursuit of excellence, the State University of Bangladesh, with a legacy of the past 22 years, continues its endeavor to shape careers and mentor students so that they can set new dimensions and milestones of excellence in their future lives. As an academic institution of higher education and learning, SUB started its journey with a modest offering of courses in health sciences and expanded to 10 academic departments under four schools.

The University has modern campuses with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure, including well-equipped Classrooms, Laboratories, Libraries, Computer labs, and Sports facilities. The faculty members of SUB are highly qualified and experienced, with many of them holding advanced degrees from reputed universities around the world.

SUB emphasizes research, innovation, and real-world problem-solving. It maintains strong ties with academic and industry partners at home and abroad.

SUB has a diverse student composition, with students coming from different parts of Bangladesh and other countries.
