The PhD in Systems Engineering is aimed at training researchers with a solid foundation in statistical methods, mathematical modelling, operational understanding of optimization theories, fundamental aspects of production systems and the evolution of ICT.
The educational objective is to train researchers who know how to disseminate research results through scientific publications in the area, with a review process and with a recognized impact index, being able to develop, evaluate and/or criticize new proposals for scientific research and/or technological development in the area of systems engineering.
Graduates must acquire a theoretical and practical mastery of the fundamental concepts in the program's research lines in the field of computer science; propose, conduct and direct scientific and technological research projects independently.
