The Lumière Lyon 2 University focuses on a strong and rigorous vision of higher education and research, driven by a spirit and values that are also its hallmark: humanist, open and committed. Located in the heart of the Metropolis of Lyon, it is one of the few universities to offer such a wide spectrum of disciplines: human and social sciences, humanities, law, economics and management. It hosts nearly 29,000 students and 1,800 staff (teachers and administrative staff) on 2 main campuses (Berges du Rhône and Porte des Alpes) and 3 complementary sites (Rachais, Ecully and Le Vinatier). Its varied training courses are aimed at all audiences and it combines openness and success for as many people as possible.
