The Master of Actuarial Studies (Extension) is a specialist degree in actuarial studies for those wanting to enter the financial services, insurance or superannuation industry in a quantitative role. This degree enables students to extend the Master of Actuarial Studies with four extra courses to study advanced actuarial and risk management courses. Part I, Part II, and the Enterprise Risk Management module of Part III have been professionally recognised by the Australian Actuaries Institute; and recognised for exemptions for core technical subjects (1-8) of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK), and for VEE from the North American Society of Actuaries. The School of Risk and Actuarial Studies is also recognized as a Center of Actuarial Excellence by the Society of Actuaries.
