A course to acquire the basics for the qualitative and quantitative understanding of biological and pathological phenomena, the principles of pathophysiology necessary to carry out orthoptic rehabilitation treatment activities in ocular motility and binocular vision disorders, the principles of the rehabilitation of handicap of the visual function and the bases to be able to perform ophthalmological instrumental semeiology techniques. At the end of this course you will be able to practice the profession of Orthoptist and ophthalmology assistant at Health Trusts, Hospitals and Universities, or carry out freelance activities in medical clinics. If you intend to expand your skills, you can instead enroll in the first level university masters and the master's degree course in rehabilitative sciences in the health professions.

Admission Requirements

The admission test is organised by the University, on the basis of the provisions issued each year by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MUR), in accordance with the provisions on access to nationally-scheduled courses, specifically for the Health Professions degree courses. 
The admission test comprises a number of questions, has a selective function and also aims to verify the possession of adequate initial preparation.
