The main areas characterizing the PhD course are: automation and dynamic systems, robotics, bioinformatics, complex systems, artificial intelligence, high performance computing, decision support systems, electromagnetics, electronics and sensors, telecommunications, cybersecurity, applied mathematics. All research areas contribute to form an interdisciplinary approach to the analysis of Big Data and Industry 4.0, with particular reference to the themes indicated by the PNRR, including the digitalisation, automation and security of productive systems and public administration, resource optimization and energy saving, the use of bioinformatics and artificial Intelligence for health. The PhD course aims at providing students with methods and skills necessary to handle and promote innovation from both a scientific and technological point of view, in both industry and academia.
