The Master's Degree in Geological Resources and Hazards of the Territory (Class LM-74) broadens the basic scientific and geological training obtained through the three-year degree in the various sectors of Earth Sciences and allows for the achievement of in-depth technical and professional preparation in the field of sustainable management of resources and the mitigation of geological hazards.

The training path of the Degree Course is based on lectures, laboratory exercises and off-site (field surveys), off-site excursions and internships. The educational excursions, both thematic and interdisciplinary, which are an integral and important part of the geologist's training, take place in various Italian and foreign locations and are largely covered by contributions paid by the course.

The educational objectives are achieved through the provision of characterising courses aimed at broadening scientific and methodological knowledge, carried out largely in the first year of the Degree Course.
