Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) major in:

The demand for a quality and competent Secondary Teachers in the region prompted the offering of the Secondary Education (BSED) with majors geared towards Science and Technology. By virtue of the Board of Trustees Resolutions #23/10/205-28, the board approved the major field of specialization of the BSED curriculum to wit.

  • Articulated the relationship of education to larger historical, social, cultural and political processes.
  • Facilitated learning using a wide range of teaching methodologies in various types of environment.
  • Developed alternative teaching approaches for diverse learners.

Admission Requirements

Undergraduate Program (BEED,BSED & BSIE)

  • Form 138 (card or transcript of records) with an average grade of 85 or 2.0.
  • Certification of good moral character signed by the school head or his authorized representative (for incoming 1st year);Honorable dismissal or Transfer Credentials (for transferees).
  • Medical Laboratory result (X-ray, urine, stool).
  • Qualified in the entrance examination, and teaching aptitude test.
  • Articulate in both written and oral examination as shown in the interview score conducted by the committee.
