Horticulture is a successful and profitable sector in New Zealand’s primary industry. Success in this sector requires practical knowledge of production as well as business skills. Business skills applied to the horticultural industry are in demand from growers and associated areas such as agrochemical, fertiliser and machinery distribution businesses. The Bachelor of Commerce (Horticulture) will contribute to this industry need. The programme will prepare future business leaders for the horticultural industry and/or food-related organisations including processors and wholesalers.
