The International Law educational program is aimed at training competitive lawyers with fundamental knowledge and skills in the application of international law, legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries to ensure peace, human rights, international cooperation and security. The educational program is designed in accordance with the requirements of employers and provides graduates with the competencies necessary to perform specific professional functions. The unique advantages of the program are the in-depth study of a foreign language throughout the entire period of study. This will allow you to freely use a foreign legal language for professional purposes in the field of international law. The teaching staff provides training in all disciplines in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English) and uses various teaching methods, including solving international legal cases, game trials, business games, trainings, as well as a combination of individual and team work. The mission of the program is to form an elite of in-demand international lawyers capable of acting in the face of modern global challenges and focused on the implementation of the tasks of international legal support for Kazakhstan's foreign policy and foreign economic activity, taking into account the protection of its national interests, as well as ensuring the rights of individuals and legal entities. Program features: students can choose a learning path depending on which field of international law and jurisprudence they want to work in: diplomacy and international relations, law enforcement or legal support for international business. Graduates of the program will be able to work in the following structures: legal and international law departments of ministries, departments, government agencies and other non-governmental structures; law enforcement agencies; national and foreign companies; legal consulting firms; advocacy, notary and other legal services; international intergovernmental organizations, international non-governmental organizations, universities. Graduates of the International Law Educational Program can perform the following types of professional activities: law enforcement, consulting, pedagogical, representative, managerial, administrative, information and analytical, organizational and managerial, human rights, expert.
