The PhD Program of Architectural Urban and Interior Design (PAUI) promotes research studies and projects focused on architectural design, considered in its different scales, contexts and programs. Research activities are based on the analysis, interpretation and development of design processes and techniques, and are supported by the acquisition and elaboration of insights and skills precisely related with the theoretical and critical horizon of contemporary architecture. The Program foresees the continuous elaboration and discussion of theoretical and operational tools, a dialectic process which aims to foster the development of a critical and creative reflection on architectural design, exploring and testing experimental approaches, and elaborating autonomous and innovative scientific products.
