In the selective Master's programme in Cognitive Neuroscience at Radboud University students study the cognitive and neural basis of mental processes such as perception, action, language, attention and memory. You will study the workings of the human brain in one of the specialisations that coincide with research at the Donders Institute. The programme offers the following specialisations:

Cognitive Neuroscience - Neural Computation and Neurotechnology (Research)

The specialisation in Neural Computation and Neurotechnology at Radboud University studies the interaction between and within groups of neurons, and how they affect our interactions with the outside world. You will study the anatomical and neurophysiological aspects of networks in the human brain as well as the techniques for the computational analysis and modelling of brain networks.

Cognitive Neuroscience - Perception, Action and Control (Research)

The specialisation in Cognitive Neuroscience - Perception, Action and Control (Research) at Radboud University studies the basic sensorimotor aspects of perception-action coupling and the cognitive, contextual and social components of behaviour. Located within the world-renowned Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, students work with top researchers and state-of-the-art equipment.

Cognitive Neuroscience - Plasticity and Memory (Research)

The Master's specialisation in Cognitive Neuroscience - Plasticity and Memory (Research) at Radboud University studies the mechanistic underpinnings and behavioural consequences of long-term changes in neural structure and function. You’ll study diverse brain functions by measuring and manipulating cognitive, emotional, hormonal and neural mechanisms, as well as by (epi)genetic fingerprinting.

Cognitive Neuroscience - Language and Communication (Research)

This Cognitive Neuroscience - Language and Communication (Research) programme at Radboud University provides a sound balance of theory and practice. Our selective approach guarantees excellence, especially during the research training period. This programme is connected with the world-renowned Max Planck Institute of Psycholinguistics and the Donders Institute for Brain and Cognition Behaviour.
