Sports Biomechanics looks to optimise human performance, reduce injury risk, and contribute to the rehabilitation and clinical management of athletes and clients.

Through Sports Biomechanics & Rehabilitation MRes, you will gain comprehensive, critical knowledge and understanding of both classical theory and models as well as selected specialised and current issues relevant to biomechanics and rehabilitation within human movement analysis, sport, exercise, health, and the clinical environment.

All students will have the opportunity to develop expertise in the practical use of state-of-the-art biomechanics equipment related to human movement and performance, as well as associated software platforms for measurement, analysis, and modelling of data.
