Food: Meals from local "carinderias" (eateries) are very cheap.
General Expenses: Costs for everyday items and apartments are considered low.

Safety: Davao City is known for being one of the safest cities in the Philippines.
Wages: The new daily minimum wage for the Davao Region is PHP 510.00 for non-agriculture and PHP 505.00 for agriculture, effective March 7, 2025.
