Join a Business School of leading academics who are shaping policy and practice. You'll benefit from our culture of research excellence in areas such as climate finance, crypto assets, and social and environmental accounting and reporting.

You’ll also have access to our established industry connections, state-of-the-art facilities and enhanced careers support.

By studying at Sussex, you will:

  • advance your knowledge in both traditional and new accounting and finance techniques
  • explore complex issues across areas such as international finance, corporate scandals and regulatory compliance
  • consider the development of accounting and its role in society, along with theoretical perspectives of accounting choice
  • learn how to demonstrate critical skills and evaluate competing approaches by investigating methods of generating and analysing data
  • become skilled at proposing solutions.

You can choose options to expand your knowledge and tailor the course to your interests. Explore areas such as ethics, programming, entrepreneurial finance, international corporate reporting, money and banking.

When you graduate, you’ll have the essential skills and knowledge for a broad range of careers. You might pursue roles in financial institutions, management consultancies or government bodies. Alternatively, you’ll have the academic grounding to pursue PhD-level study.
