In our Forensic Science programs, you’ll learn how to analyze evidence and solve crimes in the field. Topics include reporting and presenting forensic evidence in courts, aspects of law, criminality, judicial systems, and the importance of high ethical standards in forensic investigations. Concentrations in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry, Biology and Chemistry. You will learn on how to appropriately handling, packaging, and recording relevant details of crime scene artifacts; taking careful original measurements based on established practices and regulations; operating advanced scientific laboratory equipment and instruments, implementing appropriate techniques for studying material evidence; understanding chemical/molecular/biological properties in terms of their relevance to forensic science; integrating the law and specific sciences with an emphasis on adhering to stringent ethical standards; and understanding legal structures and the organization of the criminal justice system from historical, sociological, and legal perspectives.
