The MA program is designed for students who, having finished their undergraduate studies, want to equip themselves to pursue ancient philosophy at the doctoral level – by enriching both their grasp of philosophy and intellectual history, and their proficiency in the ancient languages of Greek and Latin. This interdisciplinary program is the only MA program of its kind in North America and only one of a handful of similar programs in the world.
