This department was founded in 1991 as part of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences. It offers a Communication Sciences and Disorders program with 36 credit hours to be completed. The mission is to improve the quality of the academic outputs to realize a distinguished professional practice in the field of Laboratory Medicine; to strengthen the professional ethics and to encourage the applied scientific research. Students applying for graduate work must submit documents of passing a language proficiency test (TOEFL, IELTS, French, German, etc.). TOEFL (IBT) scores required for different subjects are as follows:
500 or equivalent for science specializations
400 or equivalent for humanities
550 or equivalent for English language specializations and joint programs
