Students are prepared for effective, successful and diverse artistic engagement as performers and composers, endowed with knowledge, attitudes and skills that will enable them to be active leaders in the musical and cultural life of their community. SPECIFIC ADMISSION CRITERIA:
Α Bachelor’s degree in Music for all three concentrations.
For the Music Education concentration, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in areas other than Music may also be accepted if they are able to demonstrate a substantial portfolio and other qualifications in
For the Composition concentration, candidates should additionally submit a portfolio of works.
For the Performance concentration, an audition is required.
Candidates will be invited to an interview/audition if/when the Department deems necessary.
The Department might ask applicants for additional documents/criteria and adopt additional admission requirements/criteria if necessary.
