The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is the second scientific department established after the General Department at the Faculty of Engineering. It welcomed its first cohort in the fall of 2021.

The department comprises several faculty members from various specialties, in addition to a number of teaching assistants who are graduates of Libyan universities. This academic team is characterized by high efficiency in teaching and scientific research, and there are also staff members with experience in administration.

The department includes four scientific branches: the Power Branch, the Communications Branch, the Computer Branch, and the Control Branch. Additionally, the department has several advanced laboratories in most specialties.

  • Libyan Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Minimum grade average met 70–80%
  • National ID card copy
  • Birth certificate
  • Recent passport-sized photos

  • Entrance exam or interview (if required)
