Aviation Management and Piloting at Management & Science University (MSU) will prepare you well for your future career in the world of aviation, equipping you with a solid foundation in the business management principles of the aviation industry. In your first year, you will be taught engineering physics, information technology, aircraft, aerodynamics, flight rules and air law, radio telephony, instrument and flight navigation, and aviation English, also receive your first flight training. You will be introduced to aircraft design, control systems, and Matlab programming in your second year, before taking on the PPL modules and continuing with your flight training. You will do two research projects in your third year and learn the management and business sides of aviation while continuing with technical and pilot trainings, and intern with industry at the end of the programme.

Admission Requirements

  1. Pass SPM with credit in 3 subjects including English, Mathematics and Science; AND
  2. Pass STPM or STAM or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or a C grade in 2 subjects for STPM graduates or at least a Jayyid Rank for STAM graduates;
  3. Pass the Foundation / Basic Program from MSU or a Higher Education Provider accredited by the Government of Malaysia with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;
  4. Pass the Ministry of Education Malaysia Matriculation program with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;
  5. Pass the Malaysian Skills Diploma (Level 4), MARA Skills Institute Diploma (Level 4), Community College Diploma (Level 4 MQF), Malaysian Vocational Diploma, or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Malaysia with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;
  6. Obtain a Diploma from Polytechnic, PTPL, MSU, or any other IPTA/IPTS recognized by the Government of Malaysia with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;
  7. Pass an International Baccalaureate (IB) with at least 24 points;
  8. Pass a Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least a B grade in five (5) subjects;
  9. A minimum score of 65-70% for The South Australian Matriculation (SAM);
  10. Minimum score of 80% for the Canadian Pre-University Program (CPU).

Special Requirement

  1. Any changes to the Programme Standards, professional body requirements, or MQA recommendations shall apply only to new student cohorts.
  2. The implementation of entry requirements based on the Programme Standards, professional body requirements, or MQA recommendations shall be enforced in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) circular at the time the said Programme Standard, professional body requirement, or MQA recommendation is implemented.
