The Master of Creative Enterprise provides high-level professional and practice-based study that prepares graduates for a range of creative roles, and develops their proficiency in current and emerging commercialisation models that are essential in the highly competitive creative industries. It is suitable for graduates of any 3+ year Bachelor’s degree in a relevant creative field, who have a suitable creative project or idea they want to develop and commercialise. Each student will take taught courses in critical studies and enterprise, as well as pursue a supervised creative project from developmental stages through to commercialisation. On completion, students should have a finished creative product, a commercialisation strategy, and a critical understanding of their field.

To enter the Master of Creative Enterprise you will: have been awarded or qualified for a bachelor’s degree with a B average in the highest level courses of your degree, or demonstrated equivalent practical, professional and/or scholarly experience. You will also need to provide: a portfolio of creative works; a written expression of interest; and verified copies of all academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University. We recommend you attend a consultation with the Master of Creative Enterprise coordinator to discuss the application process and requirements.
