We train professionals who have a high capacity for expression and understanding of the English language, and sufficient knowledge of French as a second language, promoting the acquisition of linguistic, literary and cultural knowledge of English-speaking countries and new technologies related to these studies

  • Know the scientific description of the English language.
  • Handle interlinguistic and intercultural communication techniques in English and Spanish
  • Understand the intralinguistic variation of English and its consequences in the interpretation of texts (diachronic linguistics, sociolinguistics and dialectology).
  • Use the basic techniques and methods of textual processing and production in the English language: textual criticism, text editing, revision, rewriting, and, in general, linguistic advice
  • Analyze literary traditions in the English language and their relationship with Spanish traditions
  • Know the history and culture linked to English-speaking countries and their relationship with Spanish and French history and culture
