As a Child Life Specialist, you’ll act as an interdisciplinary member of the healthcare team — promoting optimum development of infants, children, adolescents and families; maintaining normal living patterns and minimizing psychological upset stemming from illness, disability, or hospitalization. Child Life Specialists also promote effective coping through play, preparation, education and self-expression activities. Students in online courses have several options for taking tests. If proctoring is required, we’ll provide instructions on how to find an approved proctor to administer the test. Additionally, many courses allow you to take tests from home with certain software on your computer.
