Originally established as Italy’s first international business school in
1868, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice is now a midsize public university offering programmes in the humanities, the social sciences, and science and technology.
Based in Venice, the university offers all the advantages of being at the heart of one of Europe’s most inspiring and dynamic cultural hubs. At the same time, it fosters a markedly global atmosphere thanks to the presence of a large community of international faculty, researchers and students. In fact, Ca’ Foscari brings the world to its campuses thanks to the dozens of English-taught undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees it offers. It also makes sure that its students venture beyond its campuses and local context by encouraging them to take advantage of a wide variety of joint/double degree options and international exchange programmes. Moreover, as a public institution with significant government support that genuinely believes in making excellent international education accessible to all, its tuition fees are remarkably affordable, even for international students.
The university's teaching and research are carried out by 7 departments and the Venice School of Management, an EQUIS-accredited business school, which offer degree programs in the following fields:
Arts & Humanities
Economics & Management
International Studies & Globalization
Languages & Cultures
Preservation & Management of Cultural Heritage
Public Governance & Social Change
Science & Technology
CAMPUSES
