Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

The Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) program aims to prepare the graduates with the following objectives:

  • PEO1. Graduates shall be able to provide solutions to hospital administration issues and allied areas, involving clinical, support services, administrative, and management issues.
  • PEO2. Graduates shall be able to perceive the limitation and impact of various hospital management related solutions in social, cultural, legal, environmental, economical and multidisciplinary contexts.
  • PEO3. Graduates shall demonstrate professional and ethical responsibilities and thrive to reinforce their knowledge being a part of higher educational programmes.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Bachelors’ degree in Medicine, AYUSH, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Sciences,vPhysiotherapy, or Allied Health Sciences from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, (or)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology (BTech), Commuter Application (BCA), Hospital Administration (BHA/BHM), Public Health (BPH/BSc-PH), Business Administration (BBA), Law (LLB) or equivalent degree from a recognized Institute or university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, (or)
  • Bachelors’ degree in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized Institute or university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, (or)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any other discipline from a recognized Institute or university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

All the above qualifications must be from Universities/institutions recognized by UGC or government of India, and the medium of instruction must be English. Those candidates with prior relevant experience will be given preference for admissions in case of a tie in the academic profile / performance in the entrance examination.
