The following areas of research are central to the curriculum and intellectual agenda of the program: the current state of literary, cultural and linguistic criticism, visual culture, contemporary debates on the first nations of the Hispanic World, redefinition of minorities in the digital age, and specific issues concerning multilingualism and multiculturalism.
