This PGCert Introduction to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (non-clinical) course is focused on teaching evidence-based psychological interventions within a range of mental health problems.
Run by the Charlie Waller Institute (CWI) for Evidence-based Psychological Treatment, this course is suitable as an introduction for new professionals in the area of mental health, as well as existing therapists who wish to update their knowledge within evidence-based practice.
This course is ideal if you already work in the area of mental health and wish to improve your clinical knowledge in skills within psychological treatments which have been shown to be effective. We strive to keep the content of the course up to date and to make modifications when new evidence becomes available, or when the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) produces new recommendations.
