The Master of Education in Counselling Psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy field, is a course-based professional development program providing the theoretical and practical skillsets for licensure as a registered psychotherapist in a variety of settings, such as non-profit agencies, post-secondary schools, mental health centres and private practice. It is a recognized education and training program in psychotherapy by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Students will be prepared with the basic preparation for certification as a Certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
