The Master of Teaching Program is a two-year (20 month) graduate level teacher education program that leads to a Master of Teaching (MT) degree. Completion of this program leads to recommendation for the Ontario College of Teachers for a Certificate of Qualification and Registration, which certifies graduates to teach in Ontario schools. The program prepares candidates to become outstanding teachers and leaders who consult, critique, create, and mobilize educational research. Students can choose from among the following MT Program options: Primary-Junior: Kindergarten to Grade 6; Junior-Intermediate: Grades 4 to 10; Intermediate-Senior: Grades 7 to 12.
