There is also emphasis fieldwork learning and practical application of knowledge, supported by our own specialist field station, dedicated laboratories and facilities for geographical information analysis. You will have the opportunity to do a work placement or study abroad for one year before the final year. Successful completion of your placement will not only enhance your career prospects and improve your class of degree, but may also grant you eligibility to the Licentiateship of the City and Guild Institute.
