Students will develop and sustain a deep understanding of, and imaginative engagement with, the history, theory and practice of worldwide exhibition cultures. This course connects with a range of initiatives including LJMU’s exhibition research centre (ERC), which has led to enhanced awareness of the exhibition as a medium for research and engagement with issues concerning curatorial activity. The ERC hosts a research seminar series, public lectures, exhibitions, connecting with other researchers working in cognate topics.
