The LMU Intern / Practitioner Teacher Credential program allows current K-12 teachers the opportunity to earn their credential in elementary, secondary, or special education while still remaining full-time teachers in the classroom. The Elementary, Secondary, Bilingual, and Special Education programs for Interns/Teacher Practitioners were created with a vision of responding to the unique needs of candidates who are employed as full time teachers in traditional public schools, charter schools, or private schools. Pedagogical approaches are utilized; therefore, field experiences are integrated into all courses. All LMU School of Education credential programs meet the California state requirements as specified by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC).
