LMU's Computer Science major helps students understand the information and computation expressed in natural systems through the development of artificial systems. Students learn the expression, limitations, and applications of algorithms and computational processes. They then review the construction and operation of robots, game consoles, mobile devices, and other agents that perform these algorithms. Majors at LMU immerse themselves in 21st century, interdisciplinary curricula built on the principles of open source culture. Future products and systems that will enhance our lives will require the skills of talented and highly educated college graduates such as those who come out of LMU.
