Loyola’s B.A. in Music allows students to express themselves through their music, coursework, and performance opportunities. The B.A. in Music requires 42 hours for addition to the B.A. in Music, Loyola offers concentrations in jazz studies and sacred music. Students looking to receive a B.A. in Music with a concentration in jazz studies will take courses in jazz improvisation, jazz music history, and jazz composition and arranging.
