The BA program is intended for those undergraduates who have career goals in fields other than chemistry, but for which a strong chemistry background is desirable (e.g., medicine, dentistry, technical sales, patent law). Requirements include the Loyola Core Curriculum including the writing-intensive and language requirements, eleven chemistry courses totaling 35 credit hours, four physics courses totaling 8 credit hours, three mathematics courses totaling 12 credit hours. Chemistry 300 (Undergraduate Research) is strongly recommended.
