The Direct Dual BA between UC Berkeley and Sciences Po offers highly qualified students who have already enrolled at one of the Sciences Po campuses an opportunity to continue their education at UC Berkeley. Upon the successful completion of their studies at Berkeley, Dual BA Direct Program students will earn twp bachelor's degrees, one from each institution.


Sciences Po Academics


Roughly one-third of each campus's student body comes from the region of focus, with international and French students comprising the other tw- thirds. The regional campuses are small and intimate, ensuring favorable class sizes and a strong sense of campus community. Regardless of campus, all students will enroll in:

  • core courses in the social sciences: Political Science, Economics, History, Sociology, and Law
  • electives in the humanities: choosing among Philosophy, Art History, Literary Studies
  • language courses that correspond to the campus's linguistic and cultural orientation
  • core math and statistics.


UC Berkeley Academics


Dual Degree students will have satisfied the majority of UC Berkeley's University and College requirements while at Sciences Po. Once at Berkeley, students will need to complete the American Cultures requirement, a course in either Physical or Biological Science Breadth, and the remaining major requirements.
