Program Mission To qualify local competencies capable of meeting the labor market's needs in various fields of radiology and medical imaging while emphasizing professional ethics and ensuring safety and quality standards, and providing research and consulting services to the local community. Program Objectives 1.The Radiology Department seeks to graduate specialists equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate radiology and medical imaging devices and perform various types of radiological examinations. 2.Continuous updating with changes in the field of medical specialties. 3.Qualifying and training students on how to handle various age groups and medical cases within the Radiology Department, as well as on preventive measures when exposed to radiation. 4.Training students in scientific research and encouraging them to pursue postgraduate studies. 5.Raising awareness among students about radiation, the risks associated with it, and how to protect against those risks. 6.Preparing students with professional ethical, administrative, and imaging quality foundations within the Radiology Department. 7.Striving to unify curricula and study plans across colleges while retaining specific courses that give the college its uniqueness. 8.Establishing principles of total quality and meeting academic accreditation requirements.

Admission Requirements

the following requirements must be met for acceptance into the College of Medical Technology: 1.Acceptance is limited to applicants holding either a specialized or general secondary school certificate. 2.The student must achieve the approved percentage for admission to the college according to the systems determined by the University Council. 3.The student must pass the medical examination required for admission to the college according to the rules set by the University or the College Council. 4.The student must pass the entrance exam if deemed necessary by the College Scientific Council. 5.The student must not have been expelled from another university for disciplinary or academic reasons. 6.The student must meet any other conditions set by the College Council and announced at the time of application. Acceptance of Non-Libyan Students: The college is permitted to accept students of non-Libyan nationalities in accordance with Article 61 of the General Higher Education Regulations (Law No. 501 of 2010), which states the following: The student must reside in Libya for the duration of their studies. Payment of fees and study expenses according to the regulations in force at the college. The student must meet all admission requirements as per Article 6 of the internal regulations of the College.
