Why study Agribusiness?

It is unique in the market and a pioneer in Argentina in the study of agro-industrial value chains. It combines disciplines of agricultural, veterinary, economic and administrative sciences focusing on agricultural production. Its purpose is to provide the student with managerial skills that allow him to lead processes of change and competitive improvement in companies.

Employability:

The Bachelor of Administration and Management of Agribusiness will be able to:

  • Manage and administer companies in the agricultural sector, in their commercial and productive aspects, structuring business plans and marketing plans.
  • Design projects on both commodities and differentiated product ventures and their production and business plans.
  • Advice on agricultural marketing, agricultural investments, agricultural policy and agribusiness administration, acting as an intermediary and promoter of related activities, public and private.
  • Determine corporate, operational and tactical strategies in agribusiness.
  • Intermediate between the agricultural sector and the national and international commodity markets.
  • Carry out efficiency diagnostics in agribusinesses and propose and / or execute continuous improvement plans.
  • Carry out market studies aimed at detecting the change in the customer's consumption habit.
  • Executes investment projects contemplating the agronomic, health, economic, environmental, human, legal and accounting areas.
  • Determine profitable minimum prices for agricultural products.
  • To tend to the optimum quality of the products responding to the current international standards.
  • Adapt and / or transfer technology in the field of administration and marketing of agricultural systems.
  • Investigate issues related to agribusiness administration.
  • Operate with basic ICT for the development of management activities in agribusiness.

Admission Requirements

Enrollment in the University Initiation Course (CIU):

  1. Present a photocopy of the DNI at the University Tower (Zabala 1837)
  2. Pay the Registration Fee
Documentation to be presented by the student when registering:

  1. pick up the Enrollment Application at the Revenue Office
  2. 1 3x3 or 4x4 passport photo
  3. photocopy of the DNI (1st and 2nd page) or of the passport in case of being a foreigner
  4. secondary studies certificate duly legalized by the Ministry of Education (original and common photocopy). Secondary degrees from schools that are not from the Federal Capital and were issued before January 1, 2010, must also be legalized by the Ministry of the Interior.  The need for legalization is eliminated for all titles issued after January 1, 2010.
Enrollment of students from another University

They must accompany in their original presentation the documentation that is detailed and any other that in each particular case may be required by this institution:

  • Certificate of university studies issued by the University where they come from, duly legalized by the respective office of the Ministry of Education.
  • Program of the subjects studied, approved and/or failed, specifying the number of postponements and whose equivalence they would like to assert at this University, duly legalized by the competent authority.
  • Certification that you are not disciplinary sanctioned at the University where you come from.
The preceding documentation must be original and legalized by the Ministry of Education.

International Student Enrollment

The original of the Certificate of Secondary Studies must be legalized:

  • In the country of origin by the Ministry of Culture and Education and the Argentine Consulate.
  • In the Argentine Republic at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Arenales 819/21 Ground Floor, City of Buenos Aires, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and by the Ministry of Education (Bolívar 191, Ground Floor) with originals of the Certificate of Secondary Studies and a photocopy of the same.
If the certificates are written in a foreign language: they must be translated by a Registered Public Translator.

Then Legalize it by the Association of Translators, Avda. Callao 289, City of Buenos Aires.
