Our Economics program will provide you with the necessary tools to understand how individuals make decisions and use their resources in different contexts; which will allow you as an economist to design better policy instruments that promote the well-being of society and the solution of the most pressing social and economic problems.
Our mission is to train you as a social scientist highly curious to understand the complexities of your environment and to generate public policies and intervention strategies for the well-being of individuals in different fields such as education, health, work, environment, international trade, finance, territorial planning, among others; expert in understanding economic and social phenomena and measuring, analyzing and studying data and information with rigor and creativity.
