The Master of Medicine (Advanced) (Clinical Neurophysiology) aims to provide structured educational programs in neurophysiological monitoring to complement experiential learning in the workplace. This program is designed for anaesthetists, neurologists, neurophysiology scientists, and trainees in these areas who are currently enrolled in the Master of Medicine (Clinical Neurophysiology) program. This course will provide graduates with: a sound understanding of the theoretical principles and practical application of the commonly employed techniques in clinical neurophysiology, advanced knowledge and skills to work in diagnostic and perioperative settings,  and an opportunity to plan and execute a substantial research project or scholarly work for publication.

Admission to the program requires: completion of the requirements for the Master of Medicine (Clinical Neurophysiology), an average mark of at least 75% in 24 credit points of compulsory and/or stream units of study; and any other requirements as stated by the Faculty at the time of application.
