These programmes consist of both coursework and independent research studies culminating in the submission of a thesis.
CityU provides a modern teaching and learning environment with the latest educational technology to support high-quality teaching and research activities. We offer studentships, scholarships, conference grants and other financial assistance so that students can engage in more academic exchange activities that are beneficial and related to their research studies. Through collaboration with scholars in different regions, students can bring their research skills to new levels.
A wide range of facilities and services are provided to support students’ studies and recreational activities. Student residence halls are also available on campus to provide students with residential accommodation and to offer an avenue for academic and cultural exchange. The University also has an official postgraduate student body, the CityU Postgraduate Association, with membership covering both research and taught postgraduate students. The Association serves as a communication channel between postgraduate students and the University.
