The Master of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering prepares graduates to review technical literature related to a biomedical engineering research problem and communicate those results through oral presentations and written publications. The master’s degree program in biomedical engineering is available under either Plan A (with thesis) or Plan B (without thesis). A total of 30 credits is required for the degree. The student’s program of study is selected in consultation with a faculty advisor and the graduate program director. No more than 6 credits of 400-level courses may be counted towards the degree requirements.
